Websites for tradespeople · Southampton & HampshireWebsites fortradespeople

Whether you're an electrician, plumber, roofer, builder, painter, landscaper or cleaner, customers look you up before they ring. I build simple, fast websites that show your work and reviews and make it easy to call you or ask for a quote, from £395.

What a trade website needs

Built for peopleon their phones

Most of your customers find you on a phone, often in a hurry. Nothing fancy, just the things that turn a search into a call.

01

One tap to call

A big call button and WhatsApp on every page, so a customer with a leak or a lockout reaches you in one tap, not three.

02

Your services, clearly

A short section for each job you want more of, from rewires and boiler installs to patios and roofs, in the words customers actually search for.

03

Where you work

The towns and areas you cover, so people know straight away you'll come to them, and Google knows where to show you.

04

Proof you do it well

Your Google, Checkatrade or Facebook reviews and photos of finished jobs, in one place that stays put instead of sliding down a feed.

05

Your credentials

Gas Safe, NICEIC, NAPIT, CSCS, insurance and guarantees shown clearly, because customers check before they let someone into their home.

06

A quote form that takes photos

Customers send a description and a few photos of the job, so you can price it without a wasted visit.

Directories vs your own site

Rent the profile,own the site

  • Checkatrade, MyBuilder and Facebook are good for reviews and can bring in work. Keep them.
  • But you don't own them. The rules, fees and layout are set by someone else, and competitors are listed beside you.
  • Your own website is where your Google profile, van, cards and Facebook page all point. It's yours once paid for, and it can show your directory reviews too.

Missed-call text-back Coming soon

Can't answer while you're on a job? I'm building a simple service that texts callers back within seconds when you miss their call, takes a message and alerts you — so the work doesn't go to the next number on Google. It isn't available yet: I'm testing it on my own line first. Leave your details and I'll let you know when it's ready. No obligation.

Directories like Checkatrade are good for reviews and trust, and they can bring in work. But the profile belongs to the directory, your competitors are listed right next to you, and the leads depend on staying a member. Your own website is the place your Google Business Profile, your van and your Facebook page can all point to, and it's yours for good. Most trades do best with both. Even with a recommendation, most people look you up before they ring. A simple site that shows your work, your reviews and your areas backs up what your customer told them, and helps you pick the jobs you actually want.

A one-page site starts from £395 and a full business website from £750, with a fixed written price agreed before any work starts. Or pay monthly from £67 with no deposit, and the site is yours after 12 payments. Hosting is optional from £35 a month, or you can host it yourself. See all packages and prices.

Not much. A short chat to start, then I write the pages from your notes, your reviews and what's already public about your business. You check it on your phone on a private link and tell me what to change.

A good website helps, and I set up or tidy your Google Business Profile as part of a business website. Nobody can honestly guarantee rankings, but a complete profile linked to a clear, fast website gives you a much better chance. The Growth plan keeps that work going every month.
